You know, I really have to give credit to Jeremy for helping me to come up with the whole S.E.A.R.C.H. idea. If it wasn't for him inviting me to write for his page, and JB McDonald's constant help and encouragement (thanks JB!), I would never have thought of writing stories for Jeremy's Amalgam page, and S.E.A.R.C.H. might never have been born!

    Oh yeah -- what is S.E.A.R.C.H. anyway? Well, if you really wanna know, check out the S.E.A.R.C.H. intro which will explain all about it. And hey, I know it's always customary of me to put an intro in each section of my homepage for you readers to read, but please, don't skip them! I wouldn't have included intros if I didn't think they were vital, would I? :)  Believe me, the S.E.A.R.C.H. intro will help ya lots in getting to know the characters. Happy reading!

    I think it's necessary to point out at this point (pun!) that these characters are made out of Marvel characters merged with one another (in other words, the Amalgam universe). That is, all characters except the Green Amazon and Black Rain, who are amalgamated (Marvel + DC) and (Marvel + Image) characters respectively.

Day One  Things head off to a rocky start for the team, thanks to a lack of unity, a lack of headquarters, and most importantly, the impending arrival of the dreaded S word -- SCHOOL! Help us, somebody! Meet The Green Beast! (a.k.a. The Lawn-Colored Hippogriff)  The title says it all, doesn't it? :)  Right as the teens go through some (horrors of horrors) tests, they meet Diana's cousin, Dr. Bruce McCoy (Beast + Hulk + Sasquatch), who has an interest in Monet! No, not that kind of interest!   Playing Hero  Better not miss out on this story, folks, otherwise you'll get lost in the next one. The girls are on the rampage for Jack, who gets trashed by some punks first, the poor fella. And the worse isn't over yet. . .

• In The Crossfire

Vengeance goes deep and the S.E.A.R.C.H. teens have no choice but to get involved.
 
• Embers Of Love

A little vignette about Justin and Angel. This story is outside the current S.E.A.R.C.H. continuity line. Totally romantic, guys, so beware! ;)

Clash  Everyone sees it as a bad sign when Jack invites Refrax over to the S.E.A.R.C.H. HQ, especially when Refrax does come, bringing more guests with him. And then he meets Mystic. . . The First Mission   What do you think this tale is about? :)  The S.E.A.R.C.H. team finds that they have to blur the lines between good and bad if they want to get back what is theirs.   For A Nightie And A Cherry, My Sweet  Jack is at his pranks again, and the girls decide to exact their vengeance on him, not realizing that they're going to get a lot more than they bargained for. . . . ;) At The Chateau  S.E.A.R.C.H. and Refrax gatecrash a Manhattan party to retrieve some components, and they have quite a time searching for them too. Change Of Heart  Everyone thinks that the Death Hounds are cruel, violent gang members who enjoy making other people suffer. Well, that's true too, ;) but there's also another side to this little family as well. This is also a sort-of vignette about Timedancer.

• Birthday Girl

Everyone is thrilled when Fern's birthday approaches, but Monet has other things on her mind. . . .

• Wrath Of A Goddess

Part of the team go to Africa in search of Monet, taking Refrax with them, but on finding the girl, they will never look at her in the same way again.

Calm Before The Storm (or The What Beast??)  While Bruce gets into the most embarrassing situation ever, Refrax has to find out who's been attacking the Death Hounds in his absence.   Sin So Well Someone from Refrax's past shows up, and not everybody is too happy to meet her. . . .   Massacre  All that has been built up and loved is annihilated in a single blow. Sometimes Luck Isn't Enough  A little vignette about Dev and his feelings for Monet. All Comes Falling Down  Everyone tries to deal with the sudden loss, gap, and vacuum in their lives as a result of the massacre, but no one realizes that the one most affected is Refrax, as everything slowly comes down on him. Through The Eyes Of An Angel  A vignette about (who else?) Angel, who takes a look back at her life and how it has molded her into the person she is today. Aftermath S.E.A.R.C.H. is still very much in a state of shock after what Sin had done to them, but they have more pressing concerns in mind. This episode occurs parallel to The Devil's Changeling.

Refrax learns the truth of his origins, and is pushed over the edge to meet his so-called destiny. This episode occurs parallel to Aftermath.

• Shattered Dreams

The big showdown takes place -- S.E.A.R.C.H. has to hunt down Refrax, who has lots of blood on his hands. . . .

Leader To Leader Refrax makes the hardest decision of his life, and strangely enough, it is Justin who helps him to decide. The Usual Insanities The dark arc is over! And now we return to the common mishaps that occur everyday around the S.E.A.R.C.H. HQ. . . . Prank War Chaos Central as havoc goes haywire. Now this is where the term 'tit-for-tat' really goes to the extreme! Howl At The Moon  Bruce meets with another furry companion, and has to contend with her mom! ;) Mist Of Uncertainty  A long overdue vignette of Jack, casting a different look at the boy everyone thinks they know.

Father Figures  A four-in-one vignette piece as some of the S.E.A.R.C.H. males think of their fathers.  Things Too Real  No superhuman badguys, no life-threatening crises. Instead, it's real life that hurts the most.  Waiting  A brief interlude, an uneasy silence. Should they pretend that everything is okay? Just Dance  The Fall Festival Dance is near, and the teens get ready for it in their own ways.   Alternate Alternates -- "What If" stories involving the S.E.A.R.C.H. members as a result of a poll. Shredded Destiny  Pillows In Their Cases
